Description
American multinational chain of fast food restaurants, Popeyes, has announced that it will create over 1,200 jobs in Europe in 2025.
The business expansion will take place in Poland, Czechia and Romania. Overall, the company plans to open 63 restaurants in 2025 across the three countries, aiming to operate more than 160 sites in total by year-end. The expansion is taking place despite challenges such as rising labour costs and raw material prices.
Founded in 1972 in New Orleans, Popeyes began operating in Poland in 2023 and is experiencing accelerated growth in the region. Popeyes is owned by Restaurant Brands International. The chain employs over 2,200 people across Poland, Czechia, and Romania.
