European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Atos, a company in the IT sector, will lay off around 200 employees from its Bydgoszcz branch.
Increased operating costs, a reduction in the rate of investment, and increasing competition were cited as reasons.

Redundancies have already started, with around 100 people from Atos and almost 100 from its subordinate company Eviden being offered voluntary redundancy. The Labour Office has received notification of a group layoff of 58 people.
