Description
Costco, an American multinational corporation with warehouse club retail stores, has announced that it will create 200 jobs in Mulhouse-Bourg-en-Bresse by the end of 2025. Costco operates a chain of membership-only big-box warehouse club retail stores delivering merchandise to individuals and firms. It operates on a membership basis, costing 36 euros/year.
It is the first Costco store in the French provinces, located on a site previously owned by Auchan Auchan 2023 - FR. After the closing of Auchan, there was a hope for the construction of a housing-estate project, but the construction work of Costco began on the 31st of March.
