Description

American aircraft engine supplier GE Aerospace has announced that it will create at least 500 new jobs worldwide.

The company is to invest €78 million in its European manufacturing sites in 2025 to expand production capacity, enhance manufacturing capabilities, and support both commercial and defense aviation sectors. The investment will be distributed across five countries, with €55.6 million allocated to Italy for new test cells and tooling, €11.6 million to Poland for facility upgrades, and €5.4 million to the Czech Republic for turboprop engine component production. The UK and Romania will receive €3.3 million and €2.3 million, respectively, for additional machinery and high-precision equipment. This expansion is expected to create over 500 jobs and will focus on next-generation engine components, AI-driven inspection systems, and advanced manufacturing technologies.

GE Aerospace is a global leader in aerospace propulsion, services, and systems. The company employs about 53,000 employees worldwide.
