Description

The Finnish Start-up company Swappie is planning a restructuring in their Tallinn office that would lead to the redundancy of 45 employees in the micro-jointing department.

The aim is to make the company and production more efficient. The company currently has around 460 workers in Estonia meaning that approximately 10% of them will be laid off. (According to Teatmik.ee the company employs 436 people in 2024 Q4 but according to their website the number is 460).

No concrete decisions have been made but the redundancy is very likely as in 2023 Swappie laid off 200 people in their office in Finland and might reduce an extra 60 workers this year.
