Description
The Fabryka Łożysk Tocznych, a manufacturer of roller bearings, has announced that 310 people will be laid off at the Kraśnik plant.
The reason for the layoffs is the factory's difficult financial situation, caused, among other things, by high energy costs. Initially, 81 people will be laid off, later an additional 230; the layoffs have already begun and will last until the end of June. The trade unions negotiated fewer layoffs in the first round (from 120 to 81), and the local Labour Office was informed about the layoffs.
Fabryka Łożysk Tocznych produces bearings for the automotive, agricultural, industrial machinery, mining and renewable energy industries and is controlled by the Chinese Tri-Ring Group.
