Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.

Flaro, a century-old Romanian company producing for the automotive, electrical, stationery, haberdashery and household goods industries, is moving production from Sibiu to Medias and Dumbraveni (both in Sibiu County), according to a company press release.
The company mentioned that the expansion through the two production halls 250 jobs for skilled and unskilled workers are created, with the aim of developing economic growth in the Tarnavei Valley. The advertised jobs are locksmiths, lathe operators, turners, electricians, feeders, process technicians and process engineers for various production and assembly processes at both plants.
By 31 December 2023, Flaro had 325 employees.
