Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.

The Lubrizol France group is cutting 145 jobs at its Rouen site and 24 positions nationwide.
With a total workforce of 367, the Rouen site specialises in manufacturing lubricants for vehicles. However, the company is facing economic challenges due to the lasting impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, increased foreign competition, and a decline in demand for thermal vehicles. As a result, some of its activities will be relocated, partly to Le Havre and partly to locations outside Europe.
This restructuring plan is expected to further impact the chemical industry in Seine-Maritime, which is already experiencing significant difficulties.
