Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.

Eastman, an international chain specialised in production and material development, has announced it will invest several millions in its facility in Ghent. The investment intends to increase production capacity at the facility, which in turn will create 50 new positions.
The facility is specialised in producing and developing materials used in car windows, for which demand is increasing. Currently, the expansion is planned to be completed by mid-2026 and includes the acquisition of 50 new employees. The company currently owns 2 facilities in Belgium.
