Description
Automotive supplier Flabeg has announced it will cease its German production in May 2025 after filing for insolvency.
Already in summer 2024, the display and mirror manufacturer had filed for insolvency and wanted to restructure its business. However, after its latest product development failed to pass security tests, an interested investor has withdrawn. As no new investors are coming on board, the insolvency administrator has announced the final closure of the company in Germany.
180 employees are affected by this step. Whilst 100 employee will receive their termination notice within a couple of days, another 80 employees will remain in employment until the final shut down of the company in May 2025.
