Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.

Campari Group has unveiled restructuring plans amid difficulties. CEO Simon Hunt, appointed in January 2025, has indicated the need for organizational changes to address financial pressures. Industry sources suggest workforce reductions of approximately 10% could affect around 500 positions globally (100 in Italy).
The Italian spirits maker faces challenges including declining Cognac demand in America, Chinese market restrictions, and potential US tariff impacts. The company reported significant profit decreases in Q3 and expects continued pressure on Q4 results.
Despite these challenges, Campari shares gained value after the announcement, with analysts maintaining positive outlooks on the company's recovery potential through portfolio rationalization and cost management initiatives.
