Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.

Heating oil provider and service station company, Corrib Oil is to create 1,200 new jobs across the country over the next five years.
The family-owned company plans to expand by building or buying 100 new service stations, which will double its current size. Corrib Oil will open four new service stations in 2025 and hiring has already begun for a new site in Cork. As part of the new jobs, the company is currently recruiting for retail positions as well as roles in operations, supply chain, logistics and head office support functions.
The company currently employs 1,150 people and has 38 service stations across 17 counties.
