Description

French luxury group LVMH has announced that it will recruit 4,500 employees in Europe by the end of 2025.

The group has launched its third ‘You & ME’ Métiers d'Excellence tour aiming to recruit about 3,375 staff in France LVMH 2025-FR and about 1,125 in Italy (the numbers are estimates). The openings include 1,000 roles in craftsmanship, 500 in design, and 3,000 in sales and customer service across boutiques and the hospitality sector. It targets young people and professionals in search of a career change. The luxury sector is facing a hiring shortage as older employees retire and there is a lack of awareness of these trades among younger people.

LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton, commonly known as LVMH, is a multinational holding company specializing in luxury goods. The company was formed in 1987 through the merger of fashion house Louis Vuitton with Moët Hennessy. LVMH controls around 60 subsidiaries that manage 75 luxury brands. LVMH counts 215,000 employees worldwide.

Of all these positions, Trendeo estimates that 800 are new and additional positions.
