Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.

Stellantis plans to hire 117 engineers under age 35 at its Turin facility. The initiative includes transitioning 95 current staff leasing positions to permanent roles and converting 22 external consultancy positions. These engineers, according to company leadership, will contribute to strategic initiatives in digitalisation, artificial intelligence, and electric vehicle development.
The automotive manufacturer has further revealed plans to commence production of the hybrid Fiat 500 in November, with an anticipated output of 100,000 units. The Piedmont Governor expressed satisfaction with these developments, noting that annual production at Mirafiori is expected to increase.
