Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.

Framatome is hiring 100 workers this year, primarily operators and technicians, at its two sites in Maubeuge and Jeumont (Nord), where they manufacture equipment for both civil and military nuclear power, including reactor cooling systems and pumps for submarines and aircraft. Following a visit from President Macron to the Maubeuge factory, the government is investing 100 million euros to augment production and reduce delays by expanding the facility. Between 2018 and 2021, the site received two investments totalling 500 million euros.
Framatome currently employs 1,300 people across its two sites in Hauts-de-France.
