Description

Rafako, a manufacturer providing EPC services to the energy and oil and gas industries, has declared bankruptcy, resulting in nearly 700 job losses at its plant in Racibórz.

The bankruptcy follows prolonged financial difficulties. The court declared the company bankrupt on 19 December 2024, while collective redundancies have now been authorised. The redundancies will be carried out in the period up to 28 February 2025. Notice periods will end at the latest at the end of May.

Rafako, established in 1949, specialised in energy infrastructure projects and was one of the key employers in the region.
