Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.

Enedis is launching a major recruitment campaign for 2025, with 3,380 vacancies to be filled throughout France, including 2,000 permanent positions and 1,380 work-study positions.
The public electricity distribution network operator, which now has 41,000 employees, is mainly looking for electrical engineers (35%), electrical project managers (25%), electrical technicians (15%) and network and IT engineers (25%). Recruitment is particularly concentrated in the Île-de-France, Pays de la Loire, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, PACA and Hauts-de-France regions. The company invests significantly in training (7% of its payroll) and stands out for its inclusive social policy, ranking 4th among the energy sector companies with the highest employee ratings. Nonetheless, Enedis is having difficult to hire and the recruitment campaigns is an effort to attract more employees to the industrial sector.
Previous business expansion was recorded on the ERM database: in 2024, Enedis announced a recruitment campaign of 2,800 new hirings Enedis 2024 - FR, but finally it was a record year with 3,595 new jobs; in 2022, there was also a recruitment campaign with 1,000 new hirings Enedis 2022 - FR and in 2020, 115 new jobs were created Enedis 2020 - FR.
