Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.

Dulcinella, a Moldovan company specialized the production and manufacture of confectionery, chocolate and pastry products announced the opening of new plant at Piatra Neamt (Neamt County). The plan will be open in August and the company intends to create 100 new jobs. The company acquired a former textile factory in Targu Neamt at the end of 2024 for €750,000, which has an area of 4,700 square meters and is located on an 8,500 square meter plot of land. The entire planned investment in the new factory will be another €3 million.
By the end of 2023 the company had a workforce of 65 people in Romania.
Founded in 2005 in the Republic of Moldova, the company entered the Romanian market in 2021 and owns 18 pastry and confectionery shops (one of which is franchised) in Bucharest, Brasov, Iasi, Suceava, Targu Neamt, Piatra Neamt, Roman and Falticeni.
