Description
Mehler Texnologies announced to close its site in Fulda (Hesse). Due to the closure 192 employees will lose their jobs. The site in Fulda is to be shut down by mid-2025.
The company stated that the adverse market developments made this step necessary. Employees and works council were informed about this decision at the beginning of January 2025. Employee representatives have already stated that they will seek talks with the management.
The textile manufacturer is part of the Freudenberg group.
