Description
Urbański, a glass manufacturer in Mosina, laid off 100 employees due to financial difficulties.
The reason was the company's difficult financial situation. The layoffs, conducted in December 2024, occurred without warning, and some wages remain unpaid. Reports indicate the labour office in Poznań was not informed. The community expressed strong concerns about the process.
The Urbański has been producing toughened glass for 30 years, and selling on the domestic market, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, the UK, the Czech Republic and Croatia.
