Description
Etas, a subsidiary of German technology company Bosch specializing in vehicle software, is planning to cut up to 400 jobs worldwide over the next three years.
The layoffs will concern one in eight employee worldwide. Around half of the layoffs are expected to be in Germany. The exact numbers of job cuts are not yet known.
The restructuring programme, aimed at addressing declining demand for intelligent driver assistance systems and other industry challenges, will be implemented in consultation with staff representatives and designed to minimize social impact.
Etas was founded in 1994. Currently, the company employs 3,100 people in Europe, Asia and the Americas.
