Description

The German manufacturer Poppe + Potthoff is gradually closing its Scionzier site in 2025, resulting in the redundancy of 100 employees. In response, workers have gone on strike, expressing dissatisfaction with the financial compensation offered by the company.

Negotiations between the site's management and trade unions began on December 5. Employees are advocating for severance packages that reflect their years of dedication and contributions to the company. The board plans to propose an agreement following a of in-depth discussions in Germany.
