Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Lyreco, a leading distributor of furniture and equipment, has announced plans to hire 100 full-time employees in Marly.
The new roles, primarily for sales representatives and delivery drivers, aim to support the company’s continued growth and enhance the quality of its services for a diverse range of clients.
Beyond expanding its workforce, Lyreco is contributing to building a circular economy. During the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, the company supplied desks and found innovative ways to repurpose them afterwards.
The company is operating in 25 countries and currently has 2,000 employees in France. It is headquartered in Marly.
