European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Already in October 2024, Wegatech filed for insolvency as demand for its products was failing. Wegatech is an installation company for heat pumps and solar systems. During the insolvency proceedings, many talks with investors were held but no final offer came through as restructuring the business was deemed too expensive. At the end of last year, Wegatech still employed around 100 staff (down from around 200 in October 2024). The remaining 100 employees will lose their jobs between the beginning of 2025 and April 2025.
