European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Leroy Merlin, a French Do It Yourself, gardening and construction materials corporation will open its new National Distribution Centre in Castanheira do Ribatejo. A joint investment between Montepino, GSE and Leroy Merlin which represents an overall investment of around €120 million (for Montepino) and €8 million (for Leroy Merlin). This investment will create around 400 direct jobs.
The new National Distribution Centre is expected to be 100% operational in the first quarter of 2025, but the company plans to open another logistics platform in Matosinhos in the next two years.
