DACHSER, a German logistics company, will open a new IT hub in Porto. The company began operating this November in temporary premises in Invicta, as part of its strategy of digital innovation and strengthening its presence in Portugal. The move to the future space is scheduled for the second quarter of 2025. The recruitment process, which is already underway, expects to create more than 100 jobs by the end of 2026.
The Dachser Corporate IT Hub Portugal will be Dachser's second largest IT centre globally, alongside the company's current IT centres in Spain, France, Germany, Hong Kong and the USA, where 750 specialists develop and optimise the company's integrated central systems for transport and warehouse management.
Dachser has been operating in Portugal since 1999 and employs around 200 people. In 2023, Dachser Portugal had a turnover of €94.2 million.
