As part of its restructuring plan within the economic and social unit of the Group, Canal+ is cutting 34 of the 64 positions at its branch in Rennes (Ille-et-Vilaine). The site hosts a variety of roles, including specialized litigation staff, technicians, and data analysts. At its peak, the site employed 350 workers. Local employees have criticized the move, arguing that it is an attempt to increase competitiveness and improve the company's entry into the London Stock Exchange, rather than a consequence of the closure of C8.
