European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Portuguese bakery chain Padaria Portuguesa has a three-year growth strategy that includes the opening of 40 new outlets in Lisbon and Porto.
This expansion plan anticipates the creation of 600 new jobs by 2028. In that year the company will have 1,600 workers. The company's revenue is projected to reach €44 million in 2024.
Padaria Portuguesa will initiate a benefits package to enhance the team's working conditions as early as 2025. The company has allocated health insurance to all the company's permanent workers, including those working in stores, factories, support teams and the logistics center.
