Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Norauto, a retailer specialising in motor vehicle parts, has announced plans to recruit 1,000 workers in 2024, encompassing permanent and temporary roles. The hiring campaign includes 450 student jobs (alternants) in areas such as mechanics, commerce, management, and head office operations.
To further bolster its recruitment efforts, Norauto has partnered with EPIDE, offering 30 young volunteers aged 17 to 25 an opportunity to discover careers in the automotive sector. The initiative aims to recruit participants after their training period.
In 2023, Norauto employed a total workforce of around 6,000 people.
