European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Chiesi, an Italian pharmaceutical company, is hiring 100 new workers near Blois (Loir-et-Cher). This is part of a €10 million investment in the factory by 2026. In the past 10 years, the group invested over 150 million euros.
The investment was announced at the Choose France summit, which celebrated five other foreign investments in the region: Vorwerk, Essity, Procter & Gamble, and Europhan. The Minister of Industry and several local government representatives were in attendance. This is the seventh consecutive year that Chiesi has taken part in the summit.
