Futuroscope, a French theme park near Poitiers, is recruiting 110 permanent employees, including 45 lifeguards. This is part of a €60 million investment to add the Aquascope to the park. The majority shareholders are Compagnies des Alpes and SEML Patrimoniale de la Vienne have invested €300 million in the company.
Futuroscope employs a total of 700 people. A further 1250 temporary workers are recruited on a seasonal basis. The company will unveil a new animation next year and aims to meet its net zero emissions target.
