French luxury group LVMH has announced that it will recruit 2,500 employees in France by the end of 2024.
The group has launched its ‘You & ME’ Métiers d'Excellence tour aiming to recruit over 3,500 staff. Under the recruitment programme, the company offers 2,500 permanent employment contracts as well as 1,000 internships or apprenticeships. ‘You & ME’ will focus on customer experience, design, and artisanry in its presentation of the trades of the LVMH group. It targets young people and professionals in search of a career change. The luxury sector is facing a hiring shortage as older employees retire and there is a lack of awareness of these trades among younger people.
