Description

Finnish cybersecurity company specializing in consumer security and privacy products F-Secure has announced that it will cut about 60 jobs worldwide.

Around 360 employees are within the scope of the collective consultation process, which covers most of F-Secure's sales, marketing, services and technology operations. The layoffs will affect about 60 positions globally, including up to 37 jobs in Finland. The negotiations may also lead to changes in teams and roles. In addition, around 45 new roles will become available if the planned changes are implemented. The planned measures are expected to generate annual cost savings of around €4 million.

Founded in 1988, F-Secure operates in over 100 countries and protects 30 million subscribers worldwide through partnerships with 200 service providers, retailers, and other partners. The company has offices in Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Sweden, the UK and the United States employs about 530 people globally.
