Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
French HR and payroll software company Lucca has announced that it will create about 185 new positions at its three sites in Nantes by the end of 2025.
In Nantes, the company concentrates its development and R&D activities. Currently, Lucca employs 215 staff in the city.
The company targets a turnover of €100 million in 2025, with international operations contributing 25% of that figure, compared to 14% today.
Lucca, which provides 13 SaaS solutions for HR and administrative processes, such as leave management and online payslip distribution, has over 6,300 clients and one million users in about 130 countries worldwide. The company employs about 630 people.
