Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Doctolib, a French online healthcare services platform, is set to hire 100 new engineers and developers and invest €100 million in AI technologies. This initiative aims to streamline appointment bookings through AI-driven conversational tools, enabling medical professionals to save time and conduct more consultations.
In 2023, Doctolib had a total workforce of around 3,200.
