Description

The Hopps Group, a French holding company, has been declared bankrupt. Around 100 of its workers will lose their jobs in Aix-en-Provence.

The group has been in economic difficulties, with the bankruptcy of two of its subsidiaries Milee: [Milee 2024 - FR (https://apps.eurofound.europa.eu/restructuring-events/detail/201163), and 150 euros:150euros 2024 - FR. The latter was initially established to support the Group's and Milee's dire economic situation. Another subsidiary, Dispeo, is also facing challenges. Labor Minister Panosyan-Bouvet has criticised the Group's lack of professionalism in handling these issues.
