Description

Stenpa, a French stationery manufacturer, is closing its doors, resulting in the loss of 124 direct jobs due to bankruptcy. In addition to these job cuts, an estimated 200 workers will be indirectly impacted by the closure. The company had been acquired in 2023 by the German investment fund Accursia Capital, which had hoped to revitalize the business but was not able to do so.

Employees and the local community are deeply concerned about the closure's impact, particularly given Stenpa's long history in the region, having been established in 1924.
