Description
Technology multinational Microsoft is to create 500 new jobs in Ireland over the next four years.
The company announced that 120 of the jobs will be recruited immediately and the other roles will be filled in the following three years.
The new jobs will include software engineering, applied sciences, security research, product management, programme management, data science, design, technical writing and analytics while up to 20% will be set aside for graduate positions.
Microsoft currently employs approximately 3,500 people in Ireland.
In 2023, Microsoft announced a restructuring plan to cut 180 jobs in Ireland. This event has been recorded in the ERM Microsoft 2023 - IE.
