Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
French train operator Transilien, a subsidiary of SNCF Voyageurs, has announced that it will recruit 900 new employees for 2023.
The recruitment will include 400 drivers, 200 station customer officers, 150 technicians, 110 supervisors and executives, and 40 production agents. The recruitment campaign will occur in March and April. Transilien aims at recovering from a slow growth following the COVID-pandemic to improve its service quality and prepare for the Olympics 2024.
In 2022, SNCF Transilien hired 770 employees, exceeding their recruitment target of 600 for the year.
