French train operator Transilien, a subsidiary of SNCF Voyageurs, has announced that it will recruit 900 new employees in the Paris region in 2024.
The recruitment includes 400 train, RER and tram drivers, 300 station agents for customer service roles and 130 maintenance technicians. Transilien will also operate the new western extension of RER E, connecting Saint-Lazare to Nanterre-La Folie.
Transilien is a part of SNCF, the state-owned railway operator. In 2023, Transilien recruited 1,350 staff in the Paris region: SNCF 2023-FR
