Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Indian IT services company Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has announced that it will create 1,600 new jobs in France within the next three years.
According to the company, France is one of its fastest-growing markets in Europe. Currently, TCS employs 1,600 employees across its major centers in France (Paris, Lille, Poitiers, and Puteaux). Around 60% of its current French employees are French nationals. With nearly 30 years of operations in France, TCS serves over 80 local clients across various sectors.
In addition to its expansion in France, TCS continues to strengthen its European footprint, including a 15-year partnership with British insurance provider Aviva through its subsidiary Diligenta. A previous case of business expansion was recorded in the ERM data-base, in the United Kingdom in 2021, with 1,500 jobs created Tata 2021-UK.
