Description

State rail company, Irish Rail, is to recruit 130 new employees as it launches a recruitment drive with a particular focus on women and people from diverse backgrounds.

The company is recruiting 100 new train drivers and 30 electricians and positions are available around the country. The vacancies are currently advertised on the company’s website.

For the recruitment campaign, Irish Rail has asked women to consider driving and electrician roles, after recording an increase in the number attending training classes.
