Description

The AGCO Group, a manufacturer of agricultural machinery, has announced the reduction of 126 jobs, with 103 positions affected at its Beauvais (Oise) facility. This represents 6.2% of the company's total workforce in France. At the Beauvais site, 59 positions will be cut from the engineering sector, while the internal restructuring plan will also impact finance, marketing, and human resources units. This decision is part of a broader global restructuring effort, which has similarly affected other European countries, including Germany.

Reactions from social partners have ranged from initiating discussions to speculating about a potential relocation of production. Concerns over job cuts have been circulating since July 2024, driven by a decline in demand for agricultural machinery.

Previously, on ERM Events records, AGCO leaded recruitement campaigns in the Beauvais sit: in 2017, with 100 new employees AGCO 2017 - FR and 2013, also with 100 new hirings AGCO 2013 - FR.
