Description

GE Vernova, a manufacturer of wind turbines, has announced that it will cut about 900 jobs worldwide.

So far, the company has revealed that about 360 positions are expected to be cut in France GE Vernova-2024-FR. The layoffs are part of a global strategy to improve efficiency and profitability within the offshore wind sector. GE Vernova had presented a proposal for reducing the company’s size to its European Works Council, what is a necessary step before job cuts at European units.

GE Vernova employs about 75,000 employees worldwide.
