The Havéa group, a French food supplement manufacturer, has announced the recruitment of 150 employees at their site in Boufféré (Montaigu-Vendée). The aim is to keep pace with capsule production, which has increased from 400 to 700 million in a year. Havéa’s current total production is 70 million units, 35 million of which are produced at the expanding site. The new workforce will help increase their production by 10 million units each year.
Two-thirds of the new hires will work weekends, producing capsules for natural health and long-term well-being, while the remainder will join the weekday production team. Weekend workers will have two twelve-hour shifts, paid as full-time, as the company aims to improve working conditions.
The Havéa group currently employs 1,100 workers, 450 of whom are based in this site in Vendée.
