Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Metro Warszawskie, the Warsaw underground operator, plans to hire up to 100 former PKP Cargo workers. The companies have signed a letter of intent, allowing Metro Warszawskie to recruit for roles such as train drivers, track vehicle operators, electricians, mechanics, and various technical positions. Recruitment will support the growing metro network in Warsaw as it expands services. Metro Warszawskie, established in 2003, focuses on passenger transport and oversees investment and construction for metro network expansion in the Polish capital city.
