European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Claus Strand, a McDonald’s franchisee, is set to open his 11th restaurant in Rønnede, creating 70 jobs. At the same time, Jean Westh is opening a new McDonald’s restaurant in Lystrup, north of Aarhus, adding 50 jobs.
Both new restaurants will adhere to the familiar McDonald’s concept, featuring drive-in services and play areas for children.
Claus Strand was initially skeptic due to his experience bein mainly based on larger cities, however his success in Maribo and Korsør has given him confidence in this new venture in the smaller city, Rønnede.
