Description

Benepack Hungary, the Hungarian subsidiary of the food processing company COFCO, based in of Hong Kong, is currently building a packaging plant in Makó. The plant reached 70% completion. Test production is expected to start in December, while actual production may begin in January 2025. The investment will create 120 new jobs.

The production site will be capable of producing up to one billion aluminium cans per year – the prospective customers are beer and soft drink producers.

The investment cost is €65 million.
