Description

Rambøll, a Danish multinational engineering, architecture and consultancy company, has reduced 250 positions over the past year due to project delays and cancellations, primarily affecting architecture and construction roles in the Nordic region.

The company attributes the reductions to both natural departures and layoffs, though the exact number of layoffs is unknown.

Rambøll emphasizes that this fluctuation in staff is normal for their business model. Currently, Rambøll employs 4,100 people in Denmark and over 18,000 globally.

Despite recent cuts, the company had previously increased its global workforce by over 1,200 positions from 2022 to 2023. The engineering and consulting group today has 4,100 employees in Denmark distributed over 12 offices as well as several offices in Norway, Sweden, Finland and Greenland. Worldwide, there are more than 18,000 employees in the group.
