Description
As announced on 07 September 2024, the US-based fast food chain McDonald's plans to create more than 10,000 new jobs in Germany by 2027.
The company is primarily focusing on "drive-thru locations" along highways or in train stations and aims to open up to 500 new fast-food restaurants in the medium term. Until the end of 2024, it is starting with 25 new restaurants, each with 50 employees, creating 1,250 jobs. In the next three years, up to 75 branches are expected to open annually.
In Germany, the company already has more than 1,400 restaurants and over 65,000 employees.
